I have a Winchester Defender 1200(?) model. I have owned this gun since 1996. When I got it I removed the butt stock and installed a hand grip only. I just measured this gun and it is 28.5 inches. The barrel, or nothing else on the gun has not been modified. I just talked to my gun dealer and he says these guns came with just the hand grip as stock or full shoulder stock. He says I have no issues. I just thought I would ask the group. Don't want to be offside the crazy gun laws we have.
