Winchester Dynapoints

I bought a box of 50's of almost every kind. Prefer CP over bare lead but my CZ455 like round lead ammo like the wildcat. Only way to tell is to shoot and measure the groupings.

I was out on the weekend with an old Cooey 75. I thought the barrel might be shot because i couldn't get any real accuracy out of it. I tried about 20 different kinds of ammo, and the best I got was about 1.25" at 50 yds. I then decided to try the Eley match- at about $15 bucks a pop!- and lo and behold, 5 shots into just over 1/2"! SO much for the shot barrel theory, but now I have a high-maintenance broad on my hands!

For bulk ammo I'd say that Dynapoints are my second favourite. I prefer Blazers but if they aren't available I have no qualms buying Dynapoints. I agree the HV Xperts are not very good though I think this is largely due to their HP nose which makes feeding more difficult for many firearms. I've never had anything beyond feeding problems with the Xperts. I have a Lakefield 64b and it is perfectly happy with either Blazers or Dynapoints. I feel like the Blazers are more accurate though I've never actually compared them. AE makes good round nose bulk as well though the CTire where I live only sells boxes of 50 so I rarely use it.

Never bought 555s. Are 333s the same? I have a box of them. They work better with my Mark II then the 64, once again probably due to HP nose. Only fired a few dozen rounds but accuracy seemed on par at 50m.
