I just picked up a bunch of reloading gear the other day and in with it was a Winchester Handloader for 38-55 . Has anyone seen one of these things and what would it be worth ? It is marked on the side Manufactured by The Winchester Rep. Arms Co. New Haven CT USA Mod 1894 Pat Feb. 19 1894 and of course 38-55 .I tried it and it does work , would make a great accessory for a Cowboy action shooting bag / cart ... There was also a Shot Shell reloading tool that looks like it might be for putting a roll crimp on a shell loaded with a ball , has a crank that rotates the tool head and a handle that holds pressure up on the shell and 2 other tools that look like they are for seating primers in shot shells . Any info would be appreciated .

I guess this is what he means. They made them for most, if not all, of the early Winchester calibres. This one is 30 WCF and I have loaded with it. A bit slow, but works.
There doesn't seem to be as much collector interest in these, as I would imagine there should be.

IIRC those were sold with the rifle back in the 1800's.
They were sold with the intent that the shooter could reload the brass cases in the field, as long as they had black powder, primers, and bullets.
The tools/kit had a decapper/sizer, primer seater, and bullet seater. A powder dipper could be used, but typically the case was deprimed, reprimed, filled with black powder, and the bullet seated to reload the fired case.
