your serial # tells me your rifle was munufactured in 1970.

I bought one new in 1980 very much like yours shoots ok , other than the checkering the stock is the same this is probably the approx vintage of yours

It came with me to Cochrane this year. Didn't get the chance to put the reticle on anything however.
