The Winchester Model 1500 has the same action as the Winchester Model 1400,2400 and 140.The only difference was the wood and finish.
In the past I had two Model 1400's and a 1500.Had trouble with all three of them jamming.This is my experience with them.Others say they had no trouble.
The shotgun was inexpensive to manufacture having a lot of plastic and stamped parts.
