Hey fellas i just finished a refurb on my 1892 winchester 38-40, but I can't find a loading gate
Has anyone made one before?
Or maybe has one for sale

Dont know what part of the country your in but if Ab. , there are several gun show venders that travel the Ab. circuit that will fix you up in a heartbeat.

Try Homestead Arms in US. They may have one. Make sure you get 38/44 not 25/32, they are different.

couldn't thread the gate so i filed that nut and screw to fit behind the lever lug and so its a flush Finnish on the receiver

you now have a pattern to make a good one from.
