Winchester M.22 and Dynapoint GT

...just got back from Canadian Tire with 2- bricks of M-22. I went through 1 brick in the last month and thought the shells were pretty good. I've been very happy with it and it has run perfect through my semi' and bolts...10/22, 77/22, Charger, Kimber Super Target, etc. I don't run the guns very hot so never saw a single problem. I thought accuracy was good and confirmed that the Lot#'s didn't match the recall lots..."GD42L" and "GD52L". These were recalled due to some double loads.

Im now thinking this thread os a scare tactic to keep people from buying the ammo, thus they can buy it themselves.
Dynapoints and the m22 ammo is fine.

Is there a difference between winchester 555 packs/333 packs and these m22 and dynapoint bullets ?
I have purchased and enjoyed the 555/333 ammo, but have not been able to find any for a while.

I bought a box of dynapoints a couple months ago. My Rem597 didn't like them. It wouldn't pop the action back far enough to reset the trigger sometimes. I don't remember much in the way of duds though. Seemed more accurate than remington GBs at 100. I wouldn't mind trying some of those m-22s

I have feeding problems with the 333/555 ammo because of the hollow point. M22's are round nose and feed great, I think they have a bit more kick too.

The 555/333/222 share the same bullet. They have a deep and wide copper plated hollow point and are a better choice for hunting than dynapoint or m22 but are still decent plinkers. They don't cycle well in many semis (IME YMMV).

The dynapoint have a narrow/shallow copper plated hollow point and are a decent all around choice for targets/game. These cycle decently in most of semis IME.

The m22 are a black copper plated round nose that functions fairly well in most semis especially when compared with the 555/333/222 bullets with the more aggressive hollow point.

The accuracy from all 3 has varied from lot to lot a fair amount IME as well. The dynapoint was the most consistant but wasn't like the CCIs.

Well put!
However for a time, the dynapoint and 555 were 5¢ and the cci was 8¢. Now they are 7¢ for each. If you can find 555 for under $18 tax in youre lucky.
