Hi All,
It was suggested by a friend that I reach out to "a good group of guys" in this forum that may be able to shed some light on a rifle I own. That being a Winchester M1917 that was manufactured in October of 1917 and carries a Canadian Military cartouche, a "C" with an arrow in the center. I'll post a picture once I get this whole URL deal figured out. This is only my 7th military rifle and second from WWI so I'm new to trying to decipher all the stamps and cartouches at present. From my research I was unaware of any M1917's being distributed to Canada so I'm at a bit of a loss. If you would be so kind to enlighten me as to the Canadian history with this rifle I would be grateful.
Thank You
