First,i'd like to say that i use my targetknobs, in order to adjust for elevation and winddrift.Seondly, you can use your ballistic-tables to calculate your trajectory, but since every gun is different,i shoot at 50 yds increment ,in order to assess and establish my true trajectory.I never said that i shoot 10 rds groups at afore-mentioned distance, since the rifle is a hunting rifle and not a 1000yds Match-rifle.My groups consists of 5 rnd groups and i would not dream of trieing to go to a 1000 yard shoot with it,but having my own 1000 yard range on my property makes it easy to test ones rifle to the max.Lastly,i shot for 11 years in the Austrian long-range Marksmanship team and competed in various Police and Military events.I hope that will satisfy some of you and as"6mm shooter "says, perhaps you should go out and practice a bit more.I bet you can't see the target anymore if you don't use targetknobs for long-range shooting. My intentions where ,to indicate that some out of the box rifles are capable of sterling performance and it had nothing to do with me bragging about 1000 yd hits. For those of you ,who regularly shoot long-range,hitting a 6'x4'Target isn't that complicated, the challenge is to hit or come close to the bulls-eye consistantly, rain or shine.Of course, those who don't shoot regularily,1000 or even 500 yds is a challenge.Yet someone ,who thinks you hold over ,in order to engage a 1000yd target is questioning me,that makes me wonder.
