what should I expect to get for this 1979 rifle that is oh so close to mint, has a couple of very small very light safe kisses. she is a true beauty! has only had a few shots, ever, like maybe 3-5. It's been in the back row in the safe for decades! down sizing the collection, going to a gun show tomorrow morning. what should I price it at? or if this is a sought after rifle, shoot me an offer before I leave for the show. Thx in advance for any help on the pricing.

Mod 70xtr

I just traded a mint 300win mag xtr with no glass and was allowed $550 but it was on a high end used rifle. Dealer will sell for maybe 100 more.

Realistically 5 to 550. in the condition you describe. I sold mine of early 70's vintage in good shape for 450. Model 70's are not scarce, and the new ones are well made and finished and sold at reasonable cost.

I don't mean to be cute but it is only worth what someone is willing to give you. That holds true for anything your selling. If all your offered is 500 then you have the true answer to your question, all the above is just quess work.

Win 70 XTR

Personally, I my Win 70 XTR in .30-06 as it has a factory 24" barrel with iron sites....
