Hello everyone.

I'm looking for anyone who could provide me with info on this model shotgun. Can't find much on the web, one has become available where I'm from and I'm interested but it is quite expensive and I don't understand why. I've heard only good things about the model 12 but again nothing on the 10.

Thanks for your time.

Are you sure it isn’t a Remington Model 10?

The Winchester Model 1910 (also known as the Model 10) is a blowback operated semi-automatic rifle produced by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company beginning in 1910 with production ending in 1936. This rifle is fed from a 4-round capacity, detachable box magazine located immediately forward of the trigger guard. Winchester only chambered the model 1910 in the .401 Winchester Self-Loading or .401 WSL cartridge.[1]

If it is a Remington shotgun and not a Winchester, the only reason it would be expensive is if it's a trap model. Most Remington 10 shotguns sell for 300-500.00 max.

Picture looks like a Model 12 with after market wood. . From the photo it's tough to tell if the rib is authentic or after market. . Don't see $4000 worth of gun there.

Winchester made the Model 11 shotgun nicknamed the widow maker because of the barrel action design.

It's some version of a Model 12 trap gun. Barrel has two beads and a step rib. Fairly nice wood too. Maybe 1000.00 or so from a collector that really wants it bad and depending on serial number. Certainly not 4000.00. They used to be the gun to shoot trap with, 50 years ago.
