Winchester Model 12 in 20 gauge chevy trucks

Well u can go to guns international and buy one for $1900.00 right now the fact is we are not the USA and people here do not spend money on shotguns I don't care how many us price u quote the market here is 30%-40% softer .As for the gun that sold for $800 they could only get one bid from all those Chevy lovers . Oh wait I drive a Chevy and own many model 12's but no Japanese model 12's

Well I may as well mention this one another one sold at auction for $700.00 I would have bought that one and sold it for $1.400.00 and everyone would get a deal . I all so found to listed at retail for $1.700.00 seems to be no action on those . Well that should account for most of those guns on to something else . Good luck to ken I have purchased 2 or 3 guns from ken he finds some interesting guns

Yes and that one delivered to canada by the time the exchange, taxes, shipping and brokerage fees will cost about 2600 landed here. It is clear we come from different back grounds which is all good other than my old man was a smith and I spent time in his shop .Being in canada or the US means nothing to me since I buy guns on a regular basis in the US and actually sold off 99% of my prohib collection state side. I have no problem paying for guns nor do most of the guys I hang with so not familiar with seeing them go for 30-40% less than book value
Other than more money to get the paper work done it is no big deal buying guns in the US
On the one chevy bidder you are not grasping the auction it was a buy now so only one got to bid and took the gun
I collect shotguns also many of them like you and try to have complete sets of most models other than 28ga which I will buy even junk just to have one of thet model in 28ga. Only have 35 28 ga now but would love to have double that. Have to say 95% of my guns I try to buy quality and mint or NIB if possible since I see them as an investment which I always thought the vintage model 12 was until maybe 20 years ago when the bottom fell out of their value after the steel shot came out. With the exception of the 28ga and some high end trap and skeet. Sad but true however but I still kept a nice clean set and hope some day the values will return
Cheers
Oh yes I drive chevies also always have and one old dodge, a 70 chevelle, 66 & 68 impala and a 09 silverado gfx. Cars are by far my main interest guns now are way down on the list. In fact just bought the 68 last November out of my brothers batch of them have not even drove it yet but plan on it being my summer driver this year. Have to see if I have a pic.Mrs says I am still living in the 60's :D
Have to run mrs says we have 3000 plants to get started in the greenhouse NICE

Update

If it came to Canada in a Ford Darryl, it "Arrived."
On the issue of DU commemoratives, I had a guy call me with an unfired DU Winchester 2200. He wanted $2200 for it, cause his dad paid $2500 at a DU auction.
Sorry, not gonna happen...

Arrived?? Probally on a flat bed or car hauler like all Fords do :D :D

3macs1 even though your a Chevy guy I think your a top notch Gun Nut.
Nice pic of the car and trust your going to have fun shaking hands with it every time you drive.
Now get out in the green house and start planting those seedlings.
So, as not to hijack the thread with car talk the model 12 was sure finished nice, hope it doesnt last long on the EE for your sake.
Tight Groups or Chokes!!!
