He's 90 he should be just giving them to you at this point,
whats a couple of grand going to do for him. Hes probably going to pass away soon anyways and if he has no family that wants the guns then he should go easy on his prices to you.
Me I would be like, yes they are worth lots of money but scene your such a great friend, I know you would be happy to sell them to me for $500.

Well to my defense I have had a lot of elderly men dame near give firearms to me. While working at there homes doing handy work etc if the topic comes up about hunting or firearms, and their ready to do something with them, they have asked me if I wanted them. I have always in every case, given them more money than what they have asked for them. Might I add, these people are not even friends, as in the case of the OP.
