Winchester model 1300 shotgun12GA X 3", 616MM BARREL, VENT RIB, CHOKE TUBES, looking for some info and what a fair price is for it used but in fair condition and what people would suggest for duck turkey and possible deer.

thanks

mostly for waterfowl though.

I recently bought two of these (style winchesters) off of the EE. They were both in good condition, one was $250, one was $275. The cheaper of the two only took 2 3/4 and had a fixed choke. The 2nd was a magnum reciever, nice wood, had winchokes but no vent rib. I did buy a vent rib winchoke 28" barrel a few years ago from Western Gun Parts. It was expensive to say the least but a vent rib barrel was hard to find used, i couldn't find one anyways. I have a non vent rib winchoke barrel for sale in the EE, FYI. Hope this helps.

yeah any bit helps there's a gun auction tonight and tomorrow from where I'm from should get some pics on here to see what people that own them think they should go for but i couldn't see paying more the 300 for it plus a 10% buyers fee.

Yup, 300 would be at the top end, they are used.

I'd suggest looking at the Remington 870, it's a better gun, with better parts support too. 1300's alright, but has an aluminum receiver vs. the Remington's steel, and the rotating bolt had some funny habits on mine, like opening itself fully when a 3" shell was fired. I noticed more, quick wear on the internals than on my 870's as well, and overall it was a more rickety gun. They work, but reflect their price point.
