Winchester model 1895 in 30-06 questions.

Hi I have a chance at a 1895 never fired in 30-06 its got a parkerized finish and I'm not sure on the year but I assume its with in the last 30 or so by the condition looks like a new production. What is the going rate for these guns?

At that price if you want it for the sake of wanting it that's a fair price. That particular model will however not appreciate much over time, the guys that want lever guns these days are dwindling

I had a chance at one a number of years ago for $895 in near new condition. Those days are long gone.
