Winchester model 21 heavy duck value

:stirthepot2:

I've joined the Perazzi cult but still have one rebranded Winchester(SX3) to keep a foot in the old cults door!!

Laugh2

I would think admitting you own an SX3 would get you tossed from the “Winchester Cult” with all the perfectly good SX1’s available out there.

Too be clear, I’m a member of the Win M12 cult. Just haven’t drunk the koolaid on their SxS. Too many others that far surpass them IMHO. Like my Lindner Charles Daly’s. Or for strength, my Manufrance Ideal. Or. Or. Or. lol

There is an absolute beauty of a Model 21 for sale on American Trapshooter. It's a two barrel set trap grade with #5 factory engraving with gold inlays. It is MINT!! He is asking $13,200 shipped.

That may be #5 Factory pattern engraving but it does not look like it was done at the factory. That gun with matching serial numbers on both barrels and factory embellishment like that would fetch the high side of $20K USD, IMHO. Beautiful, regardless!

Serial #'s are a match and the letter states it's a deluxe trap grade finish. Of course with factory records destroyed by fire there is no order sheet to prove/disprove if the engraving was factory ordered.

To confirm the factory in house engraving on that M21 the best person to contact is Pauline Muerrle who's a former Winchester in house engraver. Authenticating factory engraving is her specialty as she has the factory engraving records.

She can be contacted here:
