Just out to try an old model 50 on some clays and she jammed up at the second station.

The carrier release button has an arm that swings over to stop the carrier and this time it went past where it was supposed to stop and jammed up solid. I had to pry the arm up past the carrier section to get her loose. She seems to be working fine again but I know she will probably do the same thing soon.

Any suggestions???

also does anyone have an exploded view of this model?

should I try and find another release button and arm??

Take it to a gunsmith and have him clean and inspect it.... and correctly adjust and assemble it....

I had one of those M50s. It used to jam like that for me once in a while.

Disassembly for cleaning was very tedious with limited results. I eventually sold it and bought an 870. Never looked back.
