Winchester model 61 price

Model 61's are quite nice rifles. They were not cheap when they were new, and hold good value to this day.

The Model 61 Magnum was postwar production, and didn't survive the great 'retooling' that happened at Winchester in 1963. As we know, neither did the Model 70 or 94 survive in thier original guise either. There was no way to make rifles like the '61 cheaper, and still make a profit, so it didn't survive.

They cost from 600-700 up for a decent original one.....a minter might be close to 900-1000, depending on if it has an octogon barrel or not.

They don't come up often.
