Winchester model 63 rare? help pls

HI guys,

Wondering if someone could help me out with figuring out the value of a Winchester 63 - 22 LR 23" rifle?
A firend of mine is offering to sell it to me and he seems to think it is a very rare and valuable model.

Not exactly rare, but they are collectible if they're in good condition. I have one. Would need to see pics or know more about the condition to give a useful opinion on value

they are nice rifles.I do beleive there are 2 receivers plain and doved for scope which are later .It all depends on condition for value ,one in fair condition in my opinion sat in the ee for a few months price at 500ish

Winchester(miroku) made a reissue of the 63 some years back,I have one and they are a sweet little 22cal

Condition is everything grooved reciever in 90% condition $650.00 ish poorer condition less money without grooved 90% condition $500 ish

Were produced from 1933 to 1960 with just over 175000 made so are not rare. I purchased one from a fellow Nutter a couple of years ago in like new condition for about 750 if I remember correctly. Late 1940's production.
