Latest find 1934 M67 , the rear sight has been upgraded, dove tail is correct ,original sight can be found and installed easily. Other than that ,it's in nice original condition . The research I've done on this gun indicates that this may be a Dual sight factory model ,scope with see through mounts ,drilled and tapped at factory and iron sights also .Mounts were installed ,scope was included in box.
The proof mark was stamped farther ahead on the receiver so the rear scope mount didn't cover ,starting in early 1938 with the Model 677 and later, scoped models were stamped on the side at about 9:00 position .Proof marked on the bolt body also .

Difficult to get absolute confirmation though ,Winchester didn't keep very good records in those early years and they never let extra parts go to waste. The finger grooved stock and "patent pending stamp" on safety wing with chrome finish points to a 1934-1937 production year model gun.
There were only 387 scoped model 67 from factory starting from March 1937 ,of those I suspect a small percentage were dual sight.
Either way ,it is a nice find ,it shoots and functions very well for it's age.
I would be very appreciative of information from collectors or Winchester rimfire fans on confirmation or value of it.
Sorry about the socks .

Beautiful rifle. Your bolt is swept back. I thought it was the earlier ones from the late 30s that had a straight bolt handle. My 69a has a swept back bolt and is between 1954-58.Mine also functions perfectly.

I've had them and they are some quiet with the short shorts.
There is usually some pretty fine wood under the factory finish.
Yours looks like there are four extra holes ?

I got this rifle from an older gentleman who had it for a long time ,he said it had a long skinny scope on it when he bought it .A little more reading on Rimfire Central tells me that this rifle was available with two models of scope on special order ,a 2 3/4 power or a 5 power magnification . The hole spacing center to center was 5.33 inches and 7.76 inches respectively for scope mounts ,this one measures 7.76 inches .
The usual location for the proof mark on the iron sighted models is right about where the back hole of the rear mount is located ,about a 1/4 inch in front of receiver port.
The proof mark location and mount hole spacing on this rifle makes me fairly certain, but not 100 %, that it is a Dual sight model .

To find this set up for that rifle would be an awwwsum score.
I wonder how them sling eyes come about?

Old Winchester 22's have me hooked.
Good shooters and sure not hard to look at.

Posted picture's on Rimfire Central ,one of the resident Winchester collectors has confirmed that this rifle is a late 30's Model 67 Dual sight ,would have shipped with a 5x power scope according to scope base hole spacing.
