hello all.
I aquired a Model 70 in 222 Rem...its been in storage its entire life 1977 Mfg
i would rate the overall condition at 99%...the gun looks like new..
i think it has only fired 5 rounds...i also have the original ammo that was bought with the gun , and thats what is missing.
what would this gun be worth???
i cant seem to find much info on it...
thanks for any info
Richard

I bought a similar one (M70 sporter with iron sights) off of here in 223 rem for 550$ a while back. I think you should ask 650. They are great guns but they don't sell for big money.

Buckmastr is correct, these are great guns but they don't bring a lot of money and the 222 caliber has a following but the 223 is a much more desirable caliber for most people. I purchased one a while back in 223 for $600 and thought I paid dearly for it.

1977 Push Feed M70 in .222 in excellent plus condition will fetch $650-$700... but only to an anal collector type... shooters can buy a better rifle for less.

I think the used push feed m70's are the best value in rifles out there. Them and the browning abolts that you can't give away. Accurate rifles with very little plastic.
