Winchester Model 70 Coyote Lite 308, Impressive!

Finally, on a side note, how do you guys break your barrels in? Or do you even believe in that whole procedure? I feel like I should maybe try it with this rifle, havent on any other new ones I have bought and they were all MOA rifles.

RANGE PICS UP!

Personally I clean all new rifles very well then shot once, allow to cool and clean. I do this 10 times. After that I do the same for 5 groups of 3 then simply clean as needed. Many will say it's unnecesary but the rifles I have done this to shoot exceptionally well. Of course I'll never know how they would have shot if I didn't do it.

Nice purchase.

I can't say enough good about the FN guns. I haven't shot any other Model 70's though. I have an Alaskan and Super Grade, both shoot ragged one hole 5 shot groups with my handloads when I do my part. I feel they shoot much better than most people do including me. Although don't let me handle on here fool you.

My first M-70 was a 1972 vintage push feed. Of an era where they were supposed to be crap guns according to many. Despite the white line spacers it proved to be a very fine accurate rifle and gave me over 30 yrs. of service, like a lot of folks here I foolishly sold it. I have since added three FN M-70's to the herd and could not be happier with all of them.
