Winchester Model 70 Extreme SS Accuracy Question

I have 2 Sako 85s, one Finnlight 270WSM, the other a Bavarian 375H&H. Both shoot very well. Even the 375 groups shelf loads under an inch.

I have put together a couple of Win 70 Extreme rifles for some buddies. Both rifles grouped under an inch with Federal loads. Neither rifle did well with any of the Remington loads that we tried.

My only experience with Tikka is from their older rifles which were all great shooters. I don't like the new line of T3s, simply due to their construction, but I have never heard anyone complain of their accuracy.

One of my hunting partners picked up an extreme weather in 3006 a couple of years ago. It shot well with Federal blue box 180's. After we tuned the trigger on a bench rest it will consistently do ragged holes at 100 yards with a Bushnell 3-9 3200.

I would not hesitate to buy one.

x2, I bought one in 30-06 from a member here (also from BC) and he promised me 5/8 at 100 yds . He told the truth, as it shoots tighter groups than the pre 64 I have
