Hi all,

A friend is looking for a Winchester model 70 XTR SPORTER 7mm rem magnum 26 inch barrel.

Any idea where he can buy one?

I think you're being ignored because perhaps you should post a want add in the EE forum, so go ahead and try that.
Other options: try P&D who are a site supporter and have a banner at the top. I won't list others here since they are not supporters and it wouldn't be fair to those that are. But, a PM will get you that info. :)

Oh...the Big Mike has a nice XTR in .270 in the EE forum.
 
Best to probably get it rebarrelled, take off barrels are a hit and miss proposition.
Get hold of Rembo or cccan, they do go work with Bevin King barrels.
Other options are D. Henry @ 403-748-3030, but your gonna have a bit of a wait.
P. Reiben @ Rangeland Sports in BC does awesome work and has decent turn around time.
As I see it you have 3 home grown choices for barrels, Ron Smiths RKS tubes, Ted Gailliards match tubes and Bevin Kings tubes.
