Hi all! I just bought myself a used Winchester 75 .22 LR Target model, looks to be early production with a 4-digit S/N, will post pics later on. She's in need of a rebuild, but that's just fine for a winter project :)

The Good-

The metalwork is in perfect shape and mechanically it's perfect. The original sling mounts are still on it, the trigger is great, and the wood finish is beautiful.

The Bad-

The sights and magazine are missing, and there's a wee speckling of surface rust on the receiver/bolt.

The Ugly-

The stock has a nasty crack in it around the wrist, running to the mag catch button hole. It's already scheduled for repair (I'm no woodworker by any stretch of the imagination), so that's not a dealbreaker. What's worse though, is that some numbnutz decided to drill/tap the receiver for something other than the original rear diopter sight, so there's 3 big nasty holes on the side of the receiver which are either for some long-forgotten receiver sight, or a side-mount scope base...

So... anyone got a line on a spare mag, and some sights for this old gal? It was well-maintained before the previous owner passed away, and with a little TLC she'll definitely see some more gopher fields this summer! Looking forward to any info!
