Winchester Model 88

We usually have 1 or 2 used ones on the rack in the shop, like the 100 they draw a bit of a premium. The guns that move the quickest(new or used) are .270s and 45/70s, actually all new levers sell well and we can't get enough of them.

You can buy aftermarket mags from most gun shops.
Like most mags, they are outrageoudly expensive, for what they are. I think 35 to 45$

I wish:mad: ,I've never seen them cheaper than $60-$90 bucks at most/all gunshows in Edmonton & Loydminister.Tell me where you've seen them at that price and I'll buy two;) ;) ,

I love mine, however my brother just bought a model 88 carbine. I think I like it even better then the rifle.
I like the blr and it would be my second choice.
Can't stand the savage 99
never have tried the sako finwolf although the one I handled at a store seemed premium

Sorry..... I think the discussion was about 88's.

Just pointing out that they don't sell well at the gunshop and that newer levers sell better, that goes for its brother the 100 as well, some readers may be interested in that fact, didn't know you were a moderator, welcome aboard, I'll try try real hard to stay on topic!
