Winchester Model 88

Anybody know what a Winchester Model 88 .308 caliber is worth.
The gun is in excellent condition and was manufactured in 1966.

Somewhere in between $500-$600.

$500 is fair for a 1966 model, the pre-64's go for a little more in same condition.

Carbine or Rifle?

The carbine had a 19" barrel, a barrel band, and no checkering on the stock, while the rifle had cut checkering up to '63 after '64 had pressed checkering, a 22" barrel, and no barrel band.
