I collect the old Winchester 1894 Pre world war 1. I enjoy shooting them too. I shot a deer last fall with my old 38-55 Octagon barrel, made in 1900 . and I use my SRC in 30 WCF (30-30) to push bush with. Old Winchester's are a blast, I have the bug bad.

I always loved the rifle. Design, engineering, balance, power and accuarcy of it is amazing.
I am currently actively seeking out a rougher shape shooter grade model for around $400 range!
Anyone have one like that or 8 in their closet they want to part with just let me know! ;)

I have a 9422. Does that count? As much as I love the looks and feel of the 94 I just don't have a use for one except a 25/35 and I've given up hope finding one I can justify the expense for
However a Uberti 1871 in 357 or a 92 in 25/20 I'd love to have. I'm a sucker for case colours

I have something north of 20 94s and their derivatives, 64s, 55s etc......I have an SRC in each caliber, a long rifle in each caliber, in oct and round and a short rifle in most calibers I have 1/2 oct, half round button mags.......as well as 3 64s and 2 55s and the NRA 64 and Musket............The only one I do not possess is a 94 in 219 Zipper.........anybody got one they'd like to sell. I even have a pre 64 model 94 in 44-40, and yes it is a factory rifle, and no I'm not mistaking a 92 for a 94.
Although not a fan of all the shiny commemoratives, I bought the NRA 64 because I just really liked the wood and fit and finish on this rifle and then along came a full wood musket with nice wood and well fitted so it followed me home as well. These I purchased as shooters and will be using them as such. I posted pics of most of my collection in the levergun #### sticky. It was at a gun show in Whitehorse.

My Dad got me a '94 .30-30 when I turned 15. That was 1974, still got it, and always will keep it, as it reminds me of happier times in my youth, at home back in Saskatchewan with family. It's worn, almost silver in some spots now, but it sure has character.

Have a 50's 32spl that was my dads shooting iron, I'll pass it on to one of my boys. Currently do not have a 30-30 but that will be corrected.

I have a 1911 w94 src in 25/35 that my great grandfather bought brand new. It has never left the family and never will. I will take it out for deer this year and then retire it. I recently purchased a 1956 in 30/30 that goes to the range occasionally. I am not emotionally invested in that one but I still have no plans to sell it.....mostly because I am a rifle hoarder.
