Hey Folks, have a pre-64 Win 88 coming my way with a badly cracked stock. Haven’t been able to find a proper pre-64, but there is a post available locally - can it be made to fit without too much of a headache?
Dont know know for certain but I think the only difference between them is the pre 64 was hand checkered and the post 64 had impressed oak leaf checkering. I think otherwise the same. Someone else may correct me.
