Ok, sorry when I looked at them the first time there were a few Trap things around and I mistakenly thought the motor went with the machines.....oops
So the change is below and should help me date them. They really are antiques and probably only valuable to collectors ???

I have the following VERY OLD

-Never used Winchester Western Skeet Machines ( High and low house)
- These are single target, manual pull
-complete with oringinal wrenches.....everything still green colored and mint just a little dirty
-Still in the original wooden box (never been removed) that has printed on it:

Winchester Western Skeet...
White Flyer Targets
Made by Western Cartridge Company
East Alton, Ill

- Original manual: mint
-Original Skeet score cards
- Plates (paper) that outline skeet field layout

Now for the year of manufacture it has been estimated that they were made in the early 1940's however in the manual it talks about the Model 42 skeet shotgun that was first made in 1933 and stopped in 1963. The exact date is not printed anywhere I can see.

Anyone know of where I could find out the value of this ??? or even who might want to buy it ??

Contact Winchester - Olin at East Alton Illinois directly. ( Mike Jordan )

PM - BMcCrae and/or Clay Buster, they may have a handle on it as well.

Post pics/description in Exchange-Other Stuff with "make an offer"

I did e-mail Winchester but I will try for this Mike Jordon fella. thanks

I will take some pictures next weekend and post them. These things are really quite amazing that they are that old and never been used.

Well they are actually my clubs and as far as I know they were first purchased new by a club on Vancouver Island, sat and were never used. We aquired them in the 60's?? I think but we are looking into the exact date. I think it was one of those "oh you can have them because we never will use them"....big plans for a skeet field at my club for years and it never happened so they just sat. We do have a new skeet field now with newer machines :)

So last week a guy brought them to the club. I guess they have been sitting at his house for years. We really don't know what to do with them but I expect given they are still in the original box that they are worth quite a bit.
To give you an idea of the age, the main thrower (complete ) for the high house has a price listed of $187.....unreal

I got a reply from Winchester about guns.....form e-mail. They didn't even read my message. Not really any help.

I think the answer is obvious.

You need another skeet field for them to call home.

Get to work building kick ass houses that would be suitable for these old queens.

Great finds. You may want to hang on to them as a club, incase you need to put them into use as spares or replacements in the future.

Actually I think most members wanted to sell them depending on their worth.
We have found a similar set today that was well used and they sold for quite a bit.

This is still true but my discription above was off.

Those old Winchester machines were pretty good units. I think there are still a few clubs using them. They would be nice to have if a guy had a few acres. He could set up his own skeet field. :D

If your club wants to sell them they should let some of the other smaller clubs know. They would be great for a club planning on expanding.

I'll give you $200.00 a piece for them. :)

Sorry, bum-steer, I recently find Mike Jordan has retired ... he was a great source of "old" Winchester info.

You wont get much off the net or by e-mail ... you gotta pick-up a phone and talk to a real live person - AFTER you get past the receptionist !

Finding their worth is a lot harder than I thought. Now just off here alone I have been contacted by 3 people who want to buy them but who knows for how much.....of course. I think I need someone from the US to help me out.
