I am thinking about buying one of these I've handled one in the store but i really dont know anything about these shotguns it'll primarily be used for ducks and geese so what can you tell me about them the good bad and ugly thanks
 
The only ugly thing I can think about the SX3 is that they do not offer it in the same config. as the Turkey special which comes in smooth bore canti with rifle sights... I have shot them and they are SMOOTH and I have not personally seen a FTF or FTE. I would have bought the SX2 Practical or a SX3 Turkey if it was available without the red dot and the camo paint.

Good choice, and I would stick with it...
 
one more thing I'm goin 3 1/2 mag if i get one will it shoot light 2 3/4 #7 or 8 loads i shoot pigeons for a farmer when i can great practice but eats shells
 
I love my SX3 and it works for my purposes (ducks and geese). Mine is the 3 1/2" 26" synthetic, handles and swings well.

Caveat: I tried shooting 2 3/4 drams #7.5s (Federal blue box stuff I think?) and it would have a FTE about a 5% of the time. I changed to 3 drams and it's been smooth running since. Might have been my first cleaning technique too...?
