Winchester SX2

Any opinions on the Winchester SX2, as to reliability in cycling light loads, and as to long term usage for shooting trap?

They are one of the good ones, My friend has used one now for two seasons waterfowling with out one problem. They eat anything you feed them

I had a SX-2 sporting clays gun. No problem with really light loads down to 7/8. Mine had 2 pistons one being for light loads. I know a sporting shooter who has one of the ones with a red stock. He is fairly competative and claims he has never cleaned his. Never skips a beat.

The sx2 that I can get a great deal on is the field model, I am told that only the sporting models come with two pistons.

I have a sx2 light in 12 ga and it has one self adjusting piston. I shoot skeet wth it. It cycles light loads perfectly,is a soft shooter and swings nice. I have shot a 25 with this gun.

A buddy loves his for waterfowling and I have a Browning Gold which is a virtual twin. Great guns.

I went with a new SX2 that a dealer still had on the shelf. I like the high rib, and it cost me less than a Browning Silver.
