Hi, I'm looking to get a new shotgun and was deciding between the three in the title. If anybody has used these guns before and recommends them please let me know. I mostly will be shooting these outside and would like one that is durable to the weather.

Currently own an SXP, it is a fine entry level shotgun, I use mine as a loaner for friends and family. For the price they are a great value. I love Mossberg shotguns and you can never go wrong with a 500,excellent shotguns with a great history. I have absolutely no experience with the Nova, but guys I shoot with that own them really enjoy them. If possible, shoulder all three and see which one feels best for you, all are solid shotguns that will serve you well for years to come

I ended up getting the Nova 3
Congrats, hope it serves you well!

Simply an FYI for any future readers...
I'll be the first to admit it took me alot of years of shouldering them in the stores before I finally said to heck with it and brought one home. I'm talking about the SXP.
Yep, they do have that 'cheap' feeling but I'm honestly impressed by the fit and how smooth it operates, I really like how it basically self ejects, took me a while to get onto that.
I've had no issues with reliability, came with a 28" barrel, not long after I snapped up a 24" for next to nothing.
I did add an old (grind to fit) KickEez and one spacer plate for an even better fit.
Its the Black Shadow model BTW. One day I hope to grab the 30" Trap model if I can find one at a blowout price.

Does anybody have any recommendations on a choke tube lube? I was watching a video on changing chokes and they said it is needed.

Anti seize is by far the best choke lube that I have used. I usually clean and relube my choke tubes once per year, which works out to about 3000 shots per pair of barrels, and never an issue removing the chokes.

Yup, gotta agree. I keep a tube of Loctight Anti seize in my range bag. I have used it as an educational tool for new shooters several times, nothing more frustrating than a stuck choke tube lol
