I have an SXP defender in Flat Dark Earth. Really nice gun. For me perfect. My brother has a standard hunting model that I used for a season of Waterfowling when my semi was in for repairs. Cycled perfect, light weight, points nice and super fast!

Maybe I’ll get a 28 inch barrel so I have an extra back up for waterfowling just in case, lol…

Or maybe get a used gun off EE, haha.

I have one... it has the Invector Plus choke tubes... (over bore) which gives the best performance... lighter recoil and superb patterns...

It also is the fastest pump shotgun made...

So far as good as the old standby - 870 - maybe even better...

A friend gave me a SXP that needs the magazine throat replaced seems that this piece should not be made of plastic . Ambishooter you say it is tricky to remove , do you know how to do it ?
