I have a Winchester SXP shotgun the came with an 18.5 and 28 inch barrel. Does anyone know if winchester intends to produce a rifled slug barrel for this shotgun?

They offer the gun with a rifled barrel.

Give them a call and find out if they offer "accessory" barrels. While you are on the phone find out if the older Model 1300 barrels will fit...I suspect they do but you should confirm that with them. A used 1300 deer barrel will be cheaper than a new one.
