I normally go with CCI Stingers for my semi-autos (mossberg 715T, GSG 1911, Chiappa M1 ) tried some winchester cuz it was a good price. Does not cycle consistently. Serves me right thing to go cheap on an already cheap calibre. Stick with the quality boys!

I don't even buy winchester rimfire ammo. Been a few years since I did. Many ftf, fte, with win ammo and semi autos. Really bad accuracy in every gun I have used it in rimfire or centre fire. I will occasionally buy centre fire ammo form winchester for the brass but thats it.

There is nothing wrong or any buyer beware with Winchester 22Target ammo...the Winchester 22T is not design to feed 100% on SA rimfire firearms....but the Winchester M22 is.

Winchester rimfire ammo is the most inconsistent, unreliable and inaccurate ammunition available today. .22, 17HM2 and 17HMR....it's all crap. numerous fail to fires, fliers in every box! The last box of Winchester 17HMR I bought (2 years ago) had 2 cartridges with the projectiles pushed inside the brass case yet there was absolutely no powder in the sealed plastic box or either cartridge.

For general use/plinking bulk .22, I've moved over to the CCI Blaser stuff and have been satisfied. I went through a 5250 pack and didn't have enough FTF, etc to make it worth remembering. A handful or so. Cycles in my ar7, which can be a tough nut to crack with some ammo.

I call BS!!!

My go to for the longest time has been Winchester super X in the bulk packs and I can't remember the last time I had a dud or any issue for that matter.

It grouped pretty well in my 10/22 target and my CZ 513!as well.

For cheap bulk it is just as good if not better than any.

I guess everyones millage varies. I still have the plastic box with both bullets if you require pictures of my BS story. I know several other people who have constant FTF issues with Savage rimfire bolt guns, but I'm sure thats BS as well right....

Never had as big an issue with Win. bulk .22 ammo, to cause me to whine and complain.:) Different ammo shoots differently in different guns.

Ive had good results with the Winchester M22 target. CCI ammo has always been great too. Federal bulk and Winchester bulk is not a great choice for any semi auto. Folks you get what you pay for. Rule of thumb;,cheap stuff for bolt action or "beater" guns and premium stuff for semi-autos, you rarely can go wrong.

Winchester bulk ammo (333/525/555) has generally worked well for me, as have Dynapoints and Federal 525 packs. You don't necessarily need expensive ammo, but some semi-autos will not run on standard velocity ammo.

I run winchester black box target 22 in both my bolt guns, my buckmark target pistol, and the wife's 1o/22T and have had very few problems with the ammo. Remington thunderbolts however are a nightmare and are banned from the range bag.

If the op is refering to T 22 only, could be, haven't used any for years. As far as bulk. Win 555 is my goto ammo for gophers. Have used some Win Xpert also, they all run fine. For paper punching, Blazer seems to do good. Don't want to waste hp's for paper.

Inconsistent in several picky semis. The last batch I had wouldn't even fit into the mag on my hi standard... But that's a picky gun to begin with

I've always had good performance from Winchester bulk rimfire ammo. I do have one rimfire pistol that simply will not digest Federal Gold rimfire ammo.

I bought 1000 rounds recently and wish I didn't. All fired but had many fails to eject, load, etc. Very inconsistent power in these, and inaccurate, good for making noise in a bolt action, I use a scoped marlin 795 and is flawless with CCI ammo, and with a scoped gun you want some kind of accuracy, you pay for.

I use a stainless 10/22 that is factory, with the exception of alteration to the bolt hold open feature. It seems to digest pretty much anything. This rifle is my goto for gopher defence, so it needs to work, especially when under heavy attack from those Kincaid/Mankota gophers. :p

I don't recall ever trying to use any "target" ammo, so I might be in for a surprise.
