I almost hate to start this thread as I should stock up first but I just found a new ammo that all of my 22's just love so far. Its called winchester target 22 and its in a black box. I think it's re-labeled dynapoint but it seems to work a whole lot better. I burnt up half a box this weekend in 2 - 10/22's and a marlin 60 and they all really liked. In fact all 3 guns liked it better than their old prefered ammo. It even shot better than RWS rifle match (9.99/50) I will definately be picking up more of this, in fact I may switch to it exclusively and oh ya, the best part, $23.99/500 at canadian tire. It doesn't say on the box but I think it must be a standard velocity. It's a 40 gr hp so it should pack a good punch for gophers. I likey. I think I'll be picking up a case.
...works well in most of my rifles. You might want to try the Winchester 333/555's from Walmart. I find they work as good or better than the black box Dynapoints and they rival Yellowjackets in performance on gophers. And they sell for 19.97 per 555 rds.
