Anyone have a Winchester Ultimate Shadow or shot one. I picked up a stainless ultimate shadow in 300 WSM yesterday and I am curious about what peoples feedback is. It will be a while before I decide on a scope and my rings arrive so I am eager to hear how they shoot.
First impressions are
1. Cycles the 300 WSM cartridge like butter, nice and smooth
2. WSM rounds are super easy to put in the mag
3. Metal finish is very nice and machine work is also excellent
4. Synthetic stock is not the worse one I have seen but looks a little funky. The barrel channel fit is a little off to one side a very slight amount. Every rifle they had there had the same fit.
Can't wait to shoot it for myself, but for now what are your guys experiances with this rifle.
