Looking for comments on a Win Classic Ultimate Shadow in 270 WSM.

This is the old 70, not the FN build. It is SS w/a synthetic stock and raised bumps on the fore stock and palm area. I had an old SS classic in 300 RUM that was a tack shooter, but I have also heard some comments about quality going down hill in the last few years before shut down.

I found one that comes with a Leupold VXIII 2.5x8x36.

The seller says it is in great shape and shoots well. He is looking for an good offer....any ideas on the value of this set up??

I had a Super Shadow (same gun but with blued steel not stainless) from that era in 270WSM. Cycling was a little stiff with that short fat cartridge but it wasnt a deal breaker.

It hated 150gr bullets, shot 140gr bullets reasonably well, and was around 1 MOA with 130gr. Mine liked 130gr CoreLokts best. I traded mine for a Rem 700 varmint straight up, however I could have sold it for $500 or so if I so chose too (paid $700ish new).
