I know these 12G shells are cheap... but they are known to cause extraction issues. They seemed to run fine in my 590A1 but tried a bunch in my 500 Road Blocker and every mag there seems to be one hung up and have to jerk on it a little bit. Sh!tty shells.

Every other brand of shotshell runs like a top in all my 12G shotguns.

Yeah I heard they are rubbish in some guns.

Never had a problem through the 590A1 or my 870P. The SXP didn't mind them either.

Just buy the federal's instead. $79 for 250 @ crappy.

Work great in my 870 as converted slugs. My range only allows slugs so pop them open, melt to LEE 1oz slugs, pop back in. First several hundred worked great.

Tried to get through a box and get rid of these junk shells... had to jiggle the forend a little and only one hangup. I have 25 left to get rid of, next time to the farm I'll shoot the rest of them f@ckers.

Junk ammo, never buy it.

If anyone sees any good deals on #4 bulk ammo, please post.

Have you had better luck with Federal bulk?

I've used Federal bulk without any issues. Never any issues until Win Un shells were purchased.

The Winchester bulk 12G are absolute trash. I have about 200 #4 shells that are destined to be traded or (more likely) given away.

Oh ya? Do they have them in #4 or just #7.5? I bought the W.U because they were #4.

I recently picked up a 100 pack of these #4's as well. I've yet to try them out but my 18.5 inch barrel on my 870 can have a sticky chamber at times so we'll see how well they work.

I take donations! :dancingbanana:

They're the only ammo i have had repeated problems with. Federal works ok, but ive been using "Score" brand now. No complaints as of yet. Cheap as well.

Ditto, on all of the above.

As far as I can tell, the problem with the Winchester ammo is the nickle/aluminum (or whatever it is) bases. They expand too much and aren't as "slick" as brass, so they catch while feeding, and can really jam up during extraction, especially in semi autos or break action guns with ejectors.

Really having good luck with Score ammo. Priced close to the budget American brands, nice brass bases, Canadian made. What's not to love?

The 12 gauge score shells I picked up are periodically hanging up on the way into the chamber on my Norinco HP9.
I'm going to give it a good clean and see if that will rectify the problem.
They're a good deal made right here in Manitoba, I got a case of a nice light load (1oz, 1100fps no8) for use in my Breachersgrip 14".
