Winchester USA ammo

According to their website, Le Baron has;

Winchester USA brand:

-223 Rem 45g JHP - 40 rounds for $25.36

-22-250 Rem JHP - 40 rounds for $31.27

Of course, wether they actually have it in store is another story.
 
There really must be a run on 223 as even reloading supplies like small rifle primers are starting to dry up.
The USA export ban worry is starting a feeding frenzy on components and certain types of ammo.

Talking about bulk ammo does anyone sell case lots of 22 long rifle ..Not the brick but case of bricks.

Found the winchester white box ammo in .223 in two stores on the weekend in Brandon.

40 packs at one store were $24.99 at the TSC.

Tractor Supply Store just pi$$es me off so much because they must be the only place in Manitoba that writes down your PAL and name. I complained to the manager but he said the policy originated down east and it is a corporate wide thing.

At the real gunshop they were $31.99, go figure.:mad:
 
Just checked the Le Baron site now (Mon. Feb 23) and the ammo prices have risen again.

22-250 - $34.27/40 rounds

.223 - $27.63/40 rounds.

Always seems to be lots of .223 .45gr. JHP in Brandon, as said above it's in at least two stores here in Brandon and is almost always in stock, even when guys in other provinces can't find it. Give me a PM if you want me to pick you up some a ship it if you need it that bad.

I prefer to deaL with TSC, as there is a very good chance you will be served by a pro-gun adult that serves you right away.
(at least at mine).
I prefer not to shop at CTC,where some 16 year old kid with no licence can escort me up to front cash with my purchase.
Wallyworld has great prices, but you need to be very patient in waiting for someone to come, page manager, find key, fill out book etc, etc, etc, etc

we here in Ont are used to filling out usless ammo sales log books.
while you are doing it, you can chat up the cute sales girls at Lebaron.

Chatting up a cute sales girl while giving her all my personal info for an ammo sale doesn't sound like a good exchange to me.

I like pointing to a box of ammo, paying my money at the local gunshop where they know me and not having to give away any of my personal information.

I am an old Ontario boy, but like how things are run out west way better!
