Le Baron just got a s**tload of Winchester ammo if anybody is interested
Yeah it was good timing when I went up last Tuesday. They were just restocking the shelves with the Winchester 9mm valuepacks I was looking for.
The one in Markham on Woodbine just south of Highway 7.
The price went up to $27.94 for the 100 round 115gr value pack, but what are you going to do, prices are going up on everything.
And really when you break it down, it's like 28 cents a round.

Winchester USA is the best ammo for target. Too bad Le Barons slowly fazed it out, first no .30-06, then .308, now .223. WTF.....war?

Found the winchester white box ammo in .223 in two stores on the weekend in Brandon.
40 packs at one store were $24.99 at the TSC.
Tractor Supply Store just pi$$es me off so much because they must be the only place in Manitoba that writes down your PAL and name. I complained to the manager but he said the policy originated down east and it is a corporate wide thing.
At the real gunshop they were $31.99, go figure.
$7.00 dollars difference is quite a bit, once Tractor Supply starts giving ammo out for free I'll maybe consider complying with their invasive ammo rules from out East. This is the last thing we need catching on, I thank you for bringing this to the attention of the manager. More people have to call them on this it's just a policy it can be changed.
I can hear the government now "golly gee retailers already voluntarily require recording personal information for ammo sales so we might as well make it law." I'm all for having as many stores sell ammo as possible but if they are going to voluntarily exceed the requirements of Manitoba then it may be better if they didn't sell it at all to avoid setting a new standard.
