"Winchester USA Brand Value Pack" Ammunition

Hello,
I'm curious about the quality of "Winchester USA Brand Value Pack" ammunition. Specifically, I'm looking at the 9mm Luger, 115 gr. FMJ - Item code is: USA9MMVP.

Does anyone have any direct experience with this ammunition? The price is quite good, but I've read conflicting reports about it online (see below) and so I wanted to get some feedback on the quality or lack thereof.

I believe that Winchester "white box" is mil-spec in .45ACP, .223 and .308.
I'm happy you pointed-out that Valu-pak is NOT those "white box".

To answer your question, I shot a few hundred rnd of the Value-pak .45ACP. From a plinker POV, it's nice and reliable ammo. No malfunction. However it's pretty dirty. After a hundred rnd there's carbon deposit about 1.5" long on the end of my Glock slide.

According to your post, it's not a competition load. To me it's a good practice round.
 
AFAIK, all Win ammo that comes in those white boxes is in general called "White Box" in US. It was cheap, $8-12 per 50 not so long ago. It's not regarded to be 'quality' ammo but only a few people had an issue with the ammo. It can happen to any ammo, the rate is not out of norm.
Win white box ammo in 50rds or 100rds packs is good, reliable practice ammo.
Quite often, 100rds packs have ammo poured into the box as bulk, no trays, styro or plastic.
 
There are "USA Brand" value packs which are identical to the "USA Brand" 50 boxes. The reference you posted for the US where there are additional (cheaper) products not available here.

The "USA Brand" is not the same as Winclean.

I have used some of the USA Brand and found it to be reasonably accurate and no problems. Unless you are shooting off sandbags, accuracy is generally more about the person holding the gun rather than the ammo.
 
I've bought several of the Winchester USA brand value packs (100 rounds for about $28.00) 9mm 115gr and have had no problems at all with them.

As a side note, is there any particular reason why Winclean cannot be reloaded? I've got a box of Winclean .45 ACP that specifically says on the box that the brass is not reloadable. Not sure if it has anything to do with the fact that the cases use small pistol primers rather than the large pistol usually seen on .45, but it seemed odd to me.
 
I ran at least a case of the valu pack (100rds box) tru my USP9 and never had a problem. It was actually quite accurate and constant, it is dirty for sure... I think it is dirtier than everything else I tried (winClean, UMC, AE, Blazer) but I would buy some again if the price is right, no worries there.

It is reloadable, just the small pistol primer as you noted. (I have about 3k of it)

Ditto here. I use the .223 and .22-250 in 45g hp just for the brass and love it. Sighted in the .22-250 last nite with this ammo. My new Savage 12 lh hb spits it into itty bitty groups. Worst 3 shot group was just over 5/8".

My Tikka LH T3 .223 runs around 3/4" to 7/8" for 3 shots. No complaints from me at all. If I wasn't a handloader, this would be my go to varmint/predator ammo for sure.
