Winchester Wads

This wad is not in demand as much as before, as it was used in heavy loads with lead shot, usually for waterfowl or in cases that had reduced capacity..of course lead can't be used for that purpose anymore and may explain the shortage of that wad.

re aa 12 R wads

I do not think claybuster makes a version of this wad, or least I have never seen or heard of it. I used to use this wad for heavy hunting loads but long ago went to the Remington RP 12 wad which can be used in the same application in a lot of cases and also will actually contain all the shot inside the shot cup if using 1 3/8 or 1 1/2 ounce lead shot loads.

I bought these in claybuster a couple of years back. I think they still make them. The number was CB 1138-12 They were red for 1 1/8 - 1 7/8 loads with 1 3/8 oz being the norm for this wad.

other manufacturers make wads that are interchangable, research that and maybe it will help you locate what you need.
