I just came back from down south today. I purchased the rcbs advanced reloading kit. Im a long way from trying to reload yet. I want to do more reading before i start. I have 4 boxes of empty xp3 cases for my 3oo win mag. I think these cases are nickel are they able to be reloaded the same as brass. I know this is probably a dumb question but i have to ask. Im sure i will ask a few more before i get settled into reloading.

Thanks for any help.

I prefer them ... they tend to stay cleaner and are handy to differentiate say: one bullet weight from another - if you only load one in the nickel cases and the other in the brass cases.

I use Winchester Supreme nickel cases for my reloads (hunting loads) in my 300WM with 180gr Accubonds. I used new Winchester brass during load development before I found I right recipe, then I loaded it in the nickel cases and tried it out and got same results.

And as BB mentioned - I prefer them also.
