Winchester xpr

I bought one at Christmas time in 6.5 creedmoor and love it.

Put a cheap Diamondback scope on it and I had one three shot group that you could cover with a dime.

That's pretty good for an old guy wearing glasses.;)

My only complaint is that the 13.5 inch lenght of pull feels a bit short for me.

I like 'em, I would take the XPR over a Ruger American or Savage Axis for sure. The stocks are terribad though, I have an XPR Stealth and it's pretty cheap and flimsy. However my father-in-law got a walnut stock XPR in 6.5 Creedmoor and he loves that thing. They shoot very well, I can get 3 shots right around 1 MOA out of the stumpy, lightweight .308 with factory ammo and a 1-6x scope. My FIL's rifle with a bit more weight and 9x magnification can outshoot that by a margin as well. I would say the Browning AB3 feels maybe a bit nicer overall (never used an AB3 in the field though) but as far as each manufacturer's budget rifles go, the XPR is probably one of the best. except Sako's budget brand, those damned Tikkas are amazing

I have an XPR. I adjusted the trigger weight down (need to use lacquer thinner to dissolve the glue on it) and bedded the rifle. Very accurate!
