Winchester's 350 Legend

Does it need to fill one to buy it? Since when was "because I can" not a good enough reason.....

I dint need rifles in 450bushmaster, Remington 30AR, 50bmg, 338 Lapua, etc for hunting, but I went ahead and bought/built and use them for hunting anyways. If I listened solely to the advise on this forum I would have much fewer rifles in limited calibers, no thanks

I believe that only applies to Pennsylvania, or are there places like that in Kanada? Only caliber restrictions i know of is 《270 in southern ontario, and 》rimfire in most of Kanada.

What niche would this fill?

Could just be a fresh and possibly affordable take on 357 max or 351 wsl. I find it to be more interesting than the 30-30 solely in the context of non restricted semi auto, short range bush clearer.

It's all state based. I don't live there and cannot speak with certainty, but several states have it. Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and I believe a few others.

Winchester should just do up a rimless .357 magnum on an upgraded M1 carbine. The buggers blew it somewhat back in WW2 by going with the marginal 30
cal version.

no did it the hard way with rebarreling and testing .Going to make up a jig for the underlug for the next ones

So what kind of velocities can you get with the increased spring tension. I realize you're probably just using full-length Mag brass now but can't go any longer on overall length

This sounds like the .22 nosler from shot show. It was hyped a bit, but in Canada, no real use... I cant honestly see the 350 legend ever taking off in Canada.... Maybe in the USA, but time will only tell. The few guys that do pick them up in Canada will probably be die hards and always keep them, just like the guys still shooting the RCM and RSAUM cartridges....

yes full length 357 max brass ,didn't crony it as of yet mostly just tune for groups .I would guess pretty well the same as 351 as I am using same loading and the 357 bullet. nothing spectacular just different
