What are your thoughts on the new Semi Rifle SX2???? I think it is.. looks just like the Browning Long Trac.Anyone shot one?
 
The Winchester SXR and the Browning come off the same FN line in Belgium. As far as I know, other than the name and an action open lock (and price), there is no difference between the two...
 
I haven't shot the SXR, but I have shot an SX3 deer canti barrel shotgun. If it is as quick or reliable as that, it will be a great semi... (by the way, there are no nibs sticking past the front of the stock anymore, Winchester's website is out of date)
 
I think both the Browning Longtrac and the SXR are REALLY UGLY!!!! The BAR was much better looking. I lost all my respect for Winchester when they discontinued the 94, model 70 and 1300. My 2 cents.
 
It's not bad enough that the New Haven plant got shut down and we'll never see a 94 or 70 from the US again, they have to rub salt in the wound by giving us that ugly POS instead. I wouldn't buy one with Wendy's money.
