This is killing me! I'm trying to do some load work for the new t3 204ruger i recently aquired, I got out yesterday but a combination of a wobbly table and the heat haze was throwing me alittle, the 40gn loads i had made were shooting around the 1" mark but as I can't walk that far at the momoent I couldn't check.
So I gave up for the day. I did manage to convince my lovely wife to put up some more targets at 100 yards for me and I loaded some 39gn sierras for this morning only to wake up to 30km winds, not so good for load testing!!
So I better give the barrel a scrub maybe clean the others and plink with the 22 to kill the day

If you can position yourself where the wind is directly in your face have at er. I have loaded some nice shooting rounds with 27gr of varget for the 40gr nosler and 28gr with the 39gr blitz for 2 different 204's. FS

Well I got out today with some loads, 40gn nosler and 39gn sierras, the wind dissapered and it was warm enough to sit outside for a while. The noslers didn't work until I hit 28gn of h4895 but thats compressed and I was just getting some light rings around the F/pin, when I say work I had 3 just off touching and 2 that sent it out to an inch, but the sierras were awsome with two of the powder wieghts having all 5 well under an inch.
So I'm back to the loading bench for batch number 2 of sierras and a finer test batch. Hopefully the weekends weather will play ball.
May have to try the noslers with some varget once I have a sierra load sorted.
