Windy, snowy New Years Day coyote down

great starte.wish i had the drive to get out in this weather.another deer killer gone. thanks for the layouts and pictures .helps invision how to do things.keep em coming

I'll second varmint ALS. I made some of his shooting sticks as well and love them. Mouth calls seem to be about confidence. Believe you can call something in. While I have a cheap foxpro I find success is about the same with handcalls. I don't use a decoy. Open reed calls are really good in the cold and allow you to "voice" different prey sounds.
One tip I figured out is to hum while blowing. Lol. (Guess it's a hummer. Lol) really make for a raspy sound.

To take your post one step further Doc, if you are a hand caller don't struggle to make it perfect.... its more about calling at the right time and the right volume....
